We’re proud to partner with Devil’s Due Distillery, a veteran- and family-owned grain-to-glass distillery located just down the road in Kearneysville, WV. Since opening in 2021, Devil’s Due has become a cornerstone of local craft culture — distilling small-batch spirits with locally sourced grains and hosting unforgettable events in their warm, welcoming space.
Together, we created the Boozy Book Fairs @ Devils Due, a spirited celebration of storytelling, community, and cocktail craftsmanship. This ongoing collaboration brings together local authors, small press titles, food trucks, live music, and signature cocktails/mocktails for an unforgettable all-ages event where books and bourbon meet. Whether you’re here for the books, the food, or the finely tuned bluegrass, you’ll find something to love at a Boozy Book Fair. With Devil’s Due’s unmatched hospitality and our curated literary chaos, these events are where Shepherdstown’s bookish soul meets Appalachia’s boldest spirits. |
Welcome to Devil’s Due Distillery — Where Craft Meets Character. Since opening their doors in April 2021, they've proudly crafted grain-to-glass spirits right here in West Virginia, using locally sourced grains from area farmers. From mashing and fermenting to distilling and bottling — it all happens in-house, every week. The Devils Due name is a nod to whiskey lore. As barrels age, 3–5% evaporates each year — what distillers call the Angel’s Share. What remains is stronger, richer, and ready for you. That’s the Devil’s Due. A family- and veteran-owned distillery, open seven days a week and proud to be a hub for community, celebration, and great spirits. Whether you're stopping by for a tour, tasting, or handcrafted cocktail, there's something for everyone.
