Some authors wrote quietly brilliant work that slipped through the cracks of time, fashion, or publishing cycles.
The Forgotten Authors Book Club is dedicated to rediscovering those voices. Every other month, we gather to read and discuss novels by authors whose work was critically acclaimed, culturally significant, or deeply influential, but who are rarely centered in today’s literary conversation. Book club members receive 10% off the monthly selection. Copies will always be available in-store and often also on Libro.fm for audio download.
Future meeting dates, book selections, and the most updated information on changes can be found on the Bookclubs app or on our facebook page. We will be meeting every other month on the third Wednesday of the month @ 6:30pm (unless a different date is provided due to the facilitator or store schedule demands) in one of the the community spaces in the store. Well Read, our Classics Book Club, will meet on alternating months at the same time and on the same cadence. All readers are welcome, whether you have read the book or not. At Four Seasons Books, book clubs are about community, not completion. *No registration required, just come by the store for the meeting.*
