Eco-Poetry Open Mic:
Monday, October 5th @ 6:00 PM
We invite poets, writers, activists, and community members to share original work that reflects their relationship to the earth—whether that’s reverent, furious, hopeful, grieving, or tender. Pieces may be polished or in progress. This is a space for listening, witnessing, and collective care.
You are welcome to participate whether you’re an experienced reader or sharing your work publicly for the first time.
All voices are welcome. If you have accessibility needs or questions, we’re happy to accommodate—just let us know.
Open Mic Guidelines:
This open mic is intended for original work
Pieces should relate to the natural world, climate justice, environmental care, or ecological experience
Readers will be allotted 2–3 minutes each, depending on total sign-ups
Please be mindful that this is a shared, community-centered space
Hate speech, harassment, or content that targets marginalized groups will not be tolerated
