Four Seasons Books is proud to partner with Read Aloud West Virginia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to changing the literacy landscape of our state. Their mission is simple but powerful: motivate children to read for fun and connect them with caring adults who read to them regularly.
Together, we believe in the transformative power of stories—how a book can be a doorway, a lifeline, and a spark. Through collaborations like Readapalooza and ongoing local initiatives, we support Read Aloud WV’s work to ensure that every West Virginia child has access to books, stories, and the chance to imagine bigger futures.

Shop Local Teacher Wish Lists

1 in 5 West Virginia children struggles with basic literacy skills. Children who are read to regularly are more likely to succeed academically and beyond. Your support helps provide books to local teachers’ wish lists, giving kids the resources they need to thrive.

Calling All Local Teachers: Teachers are encouraged to submit their classroom wish lists for consideration. Wish lists can be emailed to [email protected]. (Lists should be sent in CSV format with only ISBNS)
