At Four Seasons Books, we believe that reading is more than a solitary activity—it's an opportunity to connect with others, share ideas, and explore the world through different perspectives. That's why we're proud to host a vibrant and diverse range of book clubs that cater to all tastes and interests. Whether you're a seasoned bibliophile or looking to try out your first book club to see if its for you, there's a place for you in our literary community.

All readers* with good vibes and open minds are welcome, whether you have read the book or not. At Four Seasons Books, book clubs are about community, not completion. Our book clubs are intended to be a safe space for readers to share their thoughts and connect with others and as such, we expect everyone to participate with respect and care for one another. In our efforts to be inclusive while balancing emotional comfort, the book club group facilitator reserves the right to ask a a guest or member to leave if they are creating an uncomfortable environment or are not participating appropriately.

Upcoming Meetings and Book Selections

End-of-Summer Pop-Up Party with Kendra

Special Meeting: Friday, September 4th @ 7:00pm in store

Come dressed to impress... or to excess, the choice is yours! Regardless, we will be celebrating the end of the summer with an evening of canapes, conversation, and champagne at the store. Bring your thoughts on the book, or stories of your own “wedding people” to share. Its the perfect excuse to dust off that gorgeous dress you never get to wear or hit the thrift stores for something borrowed or blue (and as tacky as possible).

Pages of PRIDE with Tanner

Next Meeting: Wednesday, September 9th @ 7:00pm in store

Together, we will read LGBTQIA+ books across all genres and engage in lively discussion about the characters, themes, and impact of stories that shape our understanding of identity, expression, love, orientation, and authentic sense of self.

Lusty Literature with Meagan

Next Meeting: Friday, September 11th @ 7:00pm in store

Are you looking for a book club where the stories are spicy, the discussions are unhinged, and every selection comes with a delicious dose of on-page steam? If so, Lusty Literature may be just the book club you have been seeking! This is your judgment-free haven where romance lovers can gush, blush, and chat freely about all things love, tension, and spice. Before you dive into our monthly picks, don’t forget to peek at those content warnings—some of our picks can be a little dark or include triggers you might choose to stay away from.

All adult readers (18+ due to mature themes) with good vibes and open minds are welcome, whether you have read the book or not. At Four Seasons Books, book clubs are about community, not completion. Please be aware that the ability to not “yuck someone’s yum” IS required for attendance as everyone has different preferences, not every book is for every person, and we want to show one another kindness and respect. Book clubs are intended to be a safe space for readers to share their thoughts and connect with others, which is especially true with Romance. In our efforts to be inclusive while balancing emotional comfort, the group facilitator reserves the right to ask a guest to leave if they are creating an uncomfortable environment or are not participating respectfully.

Bookbound Buddies with Meagan

Next Meeting: Sunday, September 13th @ 1:30pm in store

Bookbound Buddies is where books take us on grand adventures and the readers we meet along the way become fast friends. Join us each month to explore unforgettable stories, laugh together, and discover that every epic journey begins with turning the first page. Our meetings will be fun and lighthearted, involving either a craft, game, or other activity that goes along with the book.

Bookbound Buddies is geared towards middle grade readers, generally tweens between 8-12 years old, but the range is a suggestion. Parental discretion is encouraged. Meetings will run 30-45 minutes and parents are asked to remain in the store while their children are in book club.

Forgotten Authors with Kendra

Next Meeting: Wednesday, September 16th @ 6:30pm in store

Join us for an evening of literary rediscovery. Whether you’re a longtime literary fiction reader or just looking to branch out from the bestseller table, this club is a welcoming space to read deeply and discover something special.

Book Wyrms with Dylan

Next Meeting: Thursday, September 17th @ 7:00pm in store

This is the ultimate book club for those who crave epic adventures, mythical creatures, and worlds where magic reigns supreme. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler of fantastical lands or just starting your journey into the unknown, this is your sanctuary. Each month, we dive into a new realm, exploring tales of heroes, villains, and everything in between. Join us as we uncover hidden treasures in the pages of our favorite fantasy novels and connect with fellow readers who share your passion for the extraordinary. Ready your sword-or bookmark-and prepare to escape reality with us!

The Supper Club with Kendra

Next Meeting: Friday, September 18th @ 6:30pm in store

Some stories make you hungry. Some make you nostalgic. Some make you want to pour a drink, settle in for the evening, and talk about it with friends.

Come gather around the table with us for good food, rich conversation, and a story that centers food as it's own character. Whether you come solo or bring a friend, whether you cook or just show up hungry for conversation, The Supper Club is meant to feel like pulling up a chair at a table where everyone belongs.

The Supper Club is a food-forward club that celebrates books where food is not just background scenery, but a central character. We’ll read across genres, from memoir and fiction to essays and unexpected classics, all tied together by meals, kitchens, recipes, and the emotional weight food carries in our lives. Each meeting is part book discussion, part potluck. Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish inspired by the reading. The only requirement is curiosity and a love of good stories.

Galactic Readers Guild with Dylan

Next Meeting: Friday, September 18th @ 9:00pm in store

This book club will feature science fiction stories across the galaxies.

Shelf-Care with Meagan

Next Meeting: Sunday, September 20th @ 3:00pm in store

Do you love to curl up with a good book, warm beverage in hand and a blanket tucked in tight around you as you fall into a world full of lighthearted, optimistic storytelling?
Are you looking for wonder, magic, hope, connection, and humor in a book so it can help soothe some of the weariness you are carrying?
Have you ever had the urge to hug a book once you close it because it offered just the right amount of gentle medicine your heart needed at that exact moment?

If so, you have found your literary home at Four Seasons! We feature cozy books from different genres, all intended to provide a tender reprieve from the heaviness of life.

The Banned Book Club with Kendra

Next Meeting: Sunday, September 20th @ 5:00pm in store

This discussion-based book club is open to all ages and anyone who believes in the power of the written word. Expect bold conversations, fresh perspectives, and a deep dive into why books like this keep getting challenged. This book club is about more than just reading, it’s about understanding why books get banned, discussing the themes that make them controversial, and standing up for the freedom to read.

Come ready to talk about why stories like this were silenced and why they still matter. Read the banned. Question the rules.

Feminist Rage with Jessie

Next Meeting: Monday, September 21th @ 6:00pm in store

Feminist Rage is a book club dedicated to exploring the lives of women—both real and fictional. Through memoirs, nonfiction, novels, and more, we'll examine how women navigate the world, confront challenges, claim power, and shape history. Some books will spark outrage, others compassion or hope, but all will offer something to learn from and discuss together.

Crow Club with Chassidy

Next Meeting: Tuesday, September 22th @ 7:00pm in store

A group of crows is a murder—but The Crow Club meets to solve murders, one book at a time. Welcome to the Four Seasons Mystery/Thriller club, where sharp minds gather and curiosity takes flight. Think clever puzzles, heart-pounding suspense, and lively conversations that bring people together as much as the books themselves.

Whether you consider yourself a master detective or just someone who enjoys a book keeping you on the edge, you’ll find a welcoming flock of readers who love sharing ideas, swapping theories, and building connections with every clue. We don’t brood in dark corners; we trade theories, laugh at wildly wrong guesses, and celebrate the joy of uncovering secrets one page at a time.

Joining The Crow Club means embracing your inner sleuth—no deerstalker hat required, though highly encouraged for dramatic effect. If you enjoy clever storytelling and the triumphant gasp when you crack the case before the final chapter, it’s time to join the flock.

Silent Book Club with Kendra

Next Meeting: Friday, September 25th @ 6:00pm in store

Join us for Silent Book Club, a judgment-free reading hour designed for people who just want to read together. Bring your current book (or grab one from the shelves), find a comfy spot, and enjoy a quiet, cozy hour surrounded by fellow readers. There’s no assigned reading and no required discussion. Afterward, you’re welcome to linger, chat, and trade recommendations, or slip out quietly with your social battery intact.

The Nature Nook with Jessie

Next Meeting: Monday, October 5th @ 7:30pm in store

We evolved from the natural world, yet many of us now spend our days in spaces shaped more by concrete, screens, and schedules than by forests, fields, and streams. Nature Nook is an invitation to slow down, look closely, and reconnect with the world that sustains us. Through books about wildlife, plants, ecology, conservation, and our relationship with nature, we'll explore the wonders of the natural world and deepen our understanding of our place within it. The more closely we look, the more there is to discover.

The Unfictionables Club with Annie

Next Meeting: Tuesday, October 6th @ 6:00pm in store

We are a dynamic book club for lovers of non-fiction. Each month, we dive into thought-provoking reads that span a range of real-world topics, from current events and recent history to autobiographies, personal narratives, and gripping true crime stories. Our goal is to engage in lively discussions that go beyond the pages and explore the people, events, and ideas that shape our world. Whether you're drawn to the raw truth of personal memoirs or the unraveling of real-life mysteries, The Unfictionables is the place to explore, debate, and learn together. Join us as we explore the fascinating stories that define reality.

Runes and Roses with Erin

Next Meeting: Wednesday, September 2nd @ 6:30pm in store

Romantasy is the genre where sword fights and swoon-worthy moments go hand in hand, where the stakes are high, the kisses are stolen, and sometimes, the dragons are too. Think of it as the ultimate fantasy escape, with a side of heart-fluttering romance that’ll have you cheering for the hero to save both the day and their true love.
