Romantasy is the genre where sword fights and swoon-worthy moments go hand in hand, where the stakes are high, the kisses are stolen, and sometimes, the dragons are too.
Think of it as the ultimate fantasy escape, with a side of heart-fluttering romance that’ll have you cheering for the hero to save both the day and their true love. We will be meeting on the first Wednesday of the month @ 6:30pm (unless a different date is provided due to the facilitator or store schedule demands) in the upstairs community space of the store. Future meeting dates, book selections, and the most updated information on changes can be found on the Bookclubs app or on our facebook page. We will be meeting every month on the first Wednesday of the month @ 6:30pm (unless a different date is provided due to the facilitator or store schedule demands) in one of the the community spaces in the store. In the Fall, we will start alternating meeting times with Book Wyrms, our Fantasy Book Club, changing from a monthly to a bi-monthly group. All readers are welcome, whether you have read the book or not. At Four Seasons Books, book clubs are about community, not completion. *No registration required, just come by the store for the meeting.*

All adult readers (18+ due to mature themes) with good vibes and open minds are welcome, whether you have read the book or not. Please be aware that the ability to not “yuck someone’s yum” IS required for attendance as everyone has different preferences, not every book is for every person, and we want to show one another kindness and respect. Book clubs are intended to be a safe space for readers to share their thoughts and connect with others, which is especially true with Romance. In our efforts to be inclusive while balancing emotional comfort, the group facilitator reserves the right to ask a guest to leave if they are creating an uncomfortable environment or are not participating respectfully.
